Second Fridays - March

You Don’t Want To Hear Me Sing – Yes We Do: The Analyst’s Voice as Instrument

Dan Thaler

Friday Mar 10, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

flyerNew York based voice teacher, Dan Thaler will lead us in the process of exploring our own medium, our voices. Utilizing vocal exercises (don’t worry we will do them in the privacy of our own zoom room) and play to help us connect to our own expression of song. Voice lessons provide an inroad to understand some of the many elements we use to communicate with our patients including: tone, breathing, prosity, rhythmicity and freedom. As Dan Thaler says: The process of beautiful singing based on a solid vocal technique is a miraculous experience. When it happens, the body, mind and spirit rejoice! As a teacher, I have seen it many times and it is thrilling for both myself and the student. My main purpose is to connect the student with their true and unique voice. In this 2nd Fridays we will make music together with voice lessons, a link to the use of the body and sound. Join us for a fun and performance-based 2nd Fridays with you as the vocal communicator.
