SBCPS Group Relations Seminar

Group Relations Seminar: South Bay Community for Psychoanalytic Studies: SBCPS

Dennis Facchino, Ph.D.

Three Fridays February 2, 16; March 2, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

flyerGroup Relations is a method to understand the workings of members within a group. The model which we're exploring was developed by Wilfred Bion and expanded upon by the London Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in the late 1940’s. In this seminar series participants seek to understand the process within groups and rely only on the individual in so far as what the person might be holding on behalf the group. Discussions will be based on three readings, one per seminar. In the last period of each seminar there will be an experiential event.
